    Leadership Immersion

  • Expand your leadership and management skills as you immerse yourself in the themes of sustainability, innovation and leadership. This program provides credit towards units of competence from the Diploma of Leadership and Management BSB51915 or the Certificate IV in Management & Leadership BSB42015.

     

    Spend three days at the Green School immersed in an experiential and innovative program of activities focused on sustainability principles and practice as it relates to enterprise, education and community.

     

    Spend a further 5 days undertaking a customised program of learning activities including site visits to social enterprises to case study business models that apply commercial strategies to maximise human and environmental well-being including maximising social impact rather than profits.

     

    Visit Hubud, one of the most innovative, creative and dynamic coworking spaces in Asia. Profiled internationally, Hubud is a hub for location independent international workers who engage in a community where the focus is on innovation, community projects, collective brainpower, quality networking, and entrepreneurship.

    Immersion Learning

    Move beyond the walls of a traditional classroom and engage

    in formal, guided, authentic, real-world experiences that allow you to deepen your knowledge. Experiences are mapped to discipline knowledge outcomes on the themes of innovation, leadership and sustainability.

     

    Service Learning

    Service Learning engages you in community volunteer and service activities using teaching and reflection to nurture a desire to positively impact the lives of others, to build on corporate social responsibility programs, encourage community-mindedness and empathy.

    Assessment & Reflection

    We ask you to reflect and make meaning from your experiences, and action plan. What did you learn? How did it change you? What are you going to do now? Completion of assessment tasks will enable the award of a statement of attainment in your management and leadership diploma.

    Leadership Journey

    Leadership is a personal journey resulting in the skills that students need to positively and ethically influence and mobilise others in life and in the workplace. We equip students with knowledge and skills to affect individuals, teams, organisations, and their broader community.

    Register

    Select the study tour dates and register by completing the enrolment form in the information pack we send to you. We will confirm your application has been accepted and your grant eligibility (if applicable).

    Participate

    Book your fares, undertake your pre-reading, pack your bags, and travel to Bali, Indonesia, the Island of the Gods. Participate in site visits, seminars and learning projects mixed with a range of cultural activities.

    4

    Reflect

    Collate your learnings and complete your assessment. Receive credit for the offshore study tour against the units of competency

  • Program Fee $2500 AUD

    What is included:

    • Educational itinerary with multi lingual project leaders with each of our partners.
    • Accommodation including all meals at the Green School in a shared twin room or dormitory whilst studying at Green School.
    • Accommodation including breakfast in a shared twin room whilst studying with Learning Options.

    Not included:

    • Travel Insurance;
    • Some meals;
    • Transfers to and from the airport in Bali (allow $35 AUD each way per car);
    • Spending money for optional excursions, free time activities, souvenirs, beverages, snacks (allow $30- $50 per day);
